CVMS is a cost effective service that
provides low-income and homeless individuals with a voice mail number for
receiving messages from employers, landlords, case workers, health
professionals, and family/friends.
Clients pay nothing for their voice mail
numbers. As required in our Memorandum of Agreement with the agency, clients
must receive their voice mail umbers for free. If you are a client being charged
for you CVMS number, please let us know at 330-315-1349.
We charge are partner agencies $1.00 per
voice mail box per month with a minimum of 10 boxes per agency.
The length of time a client may have a voice
mail number is up to each individual agency. The average time limit is 4-6
months.
Some agencies do not have a time limit.
Instead, they check each month to see if a voice mail number hasn’t been
accessed (each agency receives a print-out telling them how often their voice
mail numbers are being used). If a voice mail number hasn’t been used in a
while, they will call the number and leave a message saying, "If you are still
using this number, give us a call. If we don’t hear from you in two weeks, we
will re-set your number and give it to another client."
CVMS does not offer voice mail numbers
directly to clients. You must be a client of one of our participating agencies
in order to receive a voice mail number. Please see a list of partner agencies
to find a location near you.
If you are not a client of any of the partner
agencies please contact 330-315-1349 to figure out another alternative.
You would need to contact the person who
issued the voice mail number and let them know what kind of problems you are
experiencing. If they cannot assist you please contact 330-315-1349.
Yes, contact your CVMS System Administrator
330-315-1349 to set-up a survey for you. This will require the use of one voice
mail number in your inventory.
Yes, your case manager can request at any
time to have your email address removed from our list. Please keep in mind that
if you opt out of this feature, you will no longer be sent community resource
information to your inbox.
